Back Alley Productions Celebrates 10th Anniversary!

My, oh my, how the time flies by! We just can’t believe that 10 years have passed since we decided to embark on this crazy adventure together and we are so grateful for all of the amazing people that we have had the honor to collaborate with throughout this past decade!

We are so proud to say that out of the 16 productions that we have brought to Seacoast audiences, of those productions were benefits for HAVEN , (raising a grand total of over $56,000) and 3 productions were benefits for our beloved Players’ Ring Theatre .

Throughout the years, we have also helped to showcase the talents of dozens of local playwrights, poets, visual artists and musicians through our Love & V-Day Productions, as well as offering members of our community, who may be new to acting, an opportunity to shine on stage!

Please be sure to join us March 2 – 18 at the Players’ Ring, where we will be bringing back to the stage our very first production – Peter Shaffer’s Equus.

Psychiatrist Dr. Martin Dysart, is confronted with a boy named Alan Strang who has blinded six horses in a violent fit of passion. This very passion is as foreign to Dysart as the act itself. To the boy’s parents, it is a hideous mystery; Alan has always adored horses. To Dysart it is a psychological puzzle that leads both doctor and patient into a complex and disturbingly dramatic confrontation.

Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $18 with discounts for students, seniors, and Players’ Ring members. To make your reservation visit playersring.org or call 603-436-8123

*Equus is for mature audiences only.*
