Q – How long have you been involved in theater?
“I have been in theatre since I was 12 years old. I have performed in many plays during high school but this is my first time on the stage since graduation!”
Q – What are some of your favorite recent productions?
“My favorite production that I’ve been a part of to date would be Metamorphoses back at Marshwood High School in 2008.”
Q – Have you performed in the Vagina Monologues before?
“This will be my first time performing in The Vagina Monologues and I couldn’t be more excited!!”
Q – What made you want to be involved in V-Day this year?
“I decided to take part in V Day 2014 because I want to be a part of something bigger than myself. V-Day is empowering. It is dynamic and exciting. Women need V-Day.”
Q – Who is the most influential woman in your life?
“My mother and my grandmother both influence me. My grandmother was a nurse and she had SEVEN kids. She’s pretty amazing. My mom had me when she was my age which is insane to think about. She did it all by herself. My mom didn’t have anything handed to her. She worked hard to provide for me. I’m very grateful that I have such a strong woman for a mother.”
Q – What or who inspires you?
“I’m inspired by so many people/things. Cecile Richards, Abraham Lincoln, Jenny Brown, Wendy Davis. Anyone who stands up for what’s right”.
