Meet the Equus Cast: Joshua Paul Moore

Joshua Paul Moore will be performing as Nugget/Young Horseman in Equus. He is excited to be back at the Players’ Ring after last being seen in A Streetcar Named Desire and Nunsense-Amen. An Equity eligible Portsmouth native, Josh has spent the last 15 years performing in New York, national tours and regional theaters throughout the country. Locally, Josh has been seen most at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Rochester Opera House and several summers performing at the Prescott Park Arts Festival.

Meet the Equus Cast: Laurie Torosian

Laurie Torosian is thrilled to back performing at the Players’ Ring in Equus as Dora Strang with this amazing cast, director, and crew. She has performed throughout the New England area, Florida, New York, and London, England. Laurie toured with The New England Shakespeare Festival for ten seasons, and recently played Sabine in The Most Massive Woman Wins, for which she won an Excellence in Acting Award at the NHCTA Festival and was honored to go with the show to the National Theatre Festival in Rochester, MN this past June. Favorite roles include Joan Plowright in Orson’s Shadow, Loretta in Little Gem, Karen in August, Osage County, and Toffee in The Altos, like the Sopranos only lower.
